For the founders of Pinit, it was spending too much time trying to find a reliable local service provider — whether a cleaner, a plumber, a personal trainer, or a pet sitter — only to end up with uncertainty, phone calls that go unanswered, and no easy way to compare options.

On July 15, 2025, Pinit Now Inc. was officially incorporated in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The company was founded with a clear mission: build a service commerce platform that makes it as easy to book a local service as it is to order food online.

The vision was simple but ambitious. One platform. Every local service. Verified providers. Transparent pricing. Secure payments. No phone calls required.

Vancouver was the natural starting point — a diverse, fast-growing city with a strong small business community and a population that increasingly expects digital-first experiences for everything, including home services, personal care, and professional support.

After months of research, planning, and validating the concept with both customers and local service providers across Vancouver, Pinit officially kicked off platform development on November 5, 2025.

The team set out to build a platform that works equally well for two very different users: a homeowner looking for a trusted cleaning service in Vancouver, and an independent plumber trying to grow their client base without spending on advertising.

Core features in development included local service search and discovery, provider profile management, real-time availability and booking, in-app messaging, secure digital payments, and a review and rating system.

The platform was designed from the ground up to support a wide range of service categories — from home improvement, plumbing, and electrical work to beauty and spa services, fitness and personal training, pet care, tutoring, cleaning, and more. The goal was to build something comprehensive enough to serve the full range of local service needs in a major Canadian city.

After seven months of development and testing, Pinit is officially live. Starting June 1, 2026, customers across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland can discover, compare, and book local service providers across a growing range of categories — all in one place, with no phone calls required.

Service providers can now create a free profile on Pinit, list their services, set their availability, and start receiving bookings from verified customers. Whether you are an independent house cleaner, a licensed electrician, a personal trainer, or a dog walker, Pinit gives you the tools to grow your business without the overhead of traditional marketing.

For customers, Pinit means access to a curated, verified network of local professionals — with transparent pricing, real reviews, and a secure booking and payment experience. No more searching across multiple websites, no more uncertainty about who is showing up at your door.

As of June 15, 2026, the Pinit app is available for download on Android devices through the Google Play Store. This brings the full Pinit platform experience to your phone — browse service categories, view provider profiles, check real-time availability, message providers directly, confirm bookings, and pay securely, all from your Android device.

For service providers, the Android app means you can run your entire Pinit business from your phone. Accept or reschedule bookings, respond to client messages, and track your earnings on the go — whether you are between jobs or at home planning your week.

The Pinit iOS app is currently in development and will be available on the Apple App Store in the coming months. In the meantime, both customers and providers can access the full Pinit platform through the web at pinitnow.com.

As of June 16, 2026, Pinit is live across 12 service categories and more than 1,000 service specialities — making it one of the most comprehensive local service platforms available to customers and providers in Vancouver and the Greater Vancouver area.

The 12 categories now live on Pinit are: home improvement, plumbing and electrical, moving and assembly, beauty and spa, fitness and sport, tutoring and education, cleaning services, food and delivery, pet services, outdoor and landscaping, event services, and travel companionship.
